Laurel is a seasoned brand and content strategist with 20+ years experience leading digital content and marketing teams at top brands like SoulCycle, Glamour, StyleCaster, and more.
As VP of Brand + Creative at SoulCycle, Laurel pioneered new marketing and brand storytelling initiatives to grow audience and drive business growth, including the launch of the cult fitness brand’s first at-home bike, first international studio in London, and first DTC retail offering; along with partnerships with Apple Music and Sirius XM. As Digital Director of Glamour, she led editorial strategy across all digital platforms, introducing new content formats and initiatives that established Glamour as a leader in digital and social-first women’s storytelling. Before taking the helm at Glamour, Laurel led digital editorial teams as Editor-in-Chief at StyleCaster, positioning the portfolio of digital style websites for an acquisition by SheKnows; Managing Editor at NBC New York, leading fashion and lifestyle coverage; and Editor at Lucky Magazine, serving as one of the Conde Nast brand’s first digital editors.
Since establishing her consultancy in 2020, Laurel has specialized in working closely with founders and product leaders at B2C and B2B digital businesses, helping new brands and products take off, reinvigorating established brands, and translating audience devotion into revenue.
